The Havanese is a small dog that originates from Cuba. They are from 8 to 11" tall & weigh from 7 to 13 lbs. They come in many colors: cream, gold, silver, champagne, tan, blue, black, parti-colored & tri-colored. The coat grows long, so it needs regular grooming, but does not shed. This can be a good dog for people with allergies. The Havanese is gentle, responsive & enjoys pleasing people. They are social, cheerful & get along with everyone. This breed is very affectionate, intelligent and learns well. The Havanese does well with a moderate amount of exercise.
